Genesis Thirty

G

Father God, we praise You for being the God of exceeding abundance who is able to bless us more than we can ask for or imagine. You are our God of hope who fills us with joy and peace as we trust in You and overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. You give abundant grace so that in all things at all times, having all we need, we can flourish in good work.

Lord Jesus, give us a longing for You that nothing in this world can satiate. Teach us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Saturate our lives so that we can truly understand what it means to be filled by You. Help us to taste and see that You are good. You fulfill every longing that no one and nothing on this earth can satisfy.

Holy Spirit, help us to know the right time to go forward with the plans that You have for our lives. Keep us from stalling our own plans or others’ plans. Remind us that when we hesitate to obey Your word, we give the enemy an invitation to meddle in our lives. May we never miss an opportunity to obey and serve You wherever You have placed and called us.

Father God, help us to see that the enemy of our souls is also the father of lies. Help us to remember that any attempt to deceive is a work of the devil. Keep us from trying to cheat anyone out of anything. Help us also to not cheat ourselves out of the fullness You have in store for us because of the lies we have chosen to believe.

Lord Jesus, You often use work in this world to sanctify us. Remind us that You call us to co-labor with You in everything we do. Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light. Help us to work in such a way that we become blessings to others because we belong to You.

Holy Spirit, help us to be comfortable with mystery when we don’t fully understand something in Your word. Remind us that You often use the mundane to bring about the miraculous. Show Yourself strong in the work of our hands so You are glorified for the abundance that we cannot explain.

Father, Son, and Spirit, help us to be people of integrity. Manifest Yourself in our lives in an undeniable way so no one has any doubt that You are our source. May we decrease as You increase in every single area of our life. -Amen!
