May we consecrate every relationship to You, knowing that when we have a servant’s heart towards You, it ultimately translates into having a servant’s heart in our relationships towards each other. May this freedom from sin extend to all aspects of our thoughts, words, and deeds. Father God, we humbly ask that You would help us to live worthy of the calling that You have placed on our lives. Remind us that living out this calling requires us to live in humility, gentleness, patience, forbearance, holiness, and peace with each other. We thank You, Holy Spirit, for opening our spiritual eyes to clearly see the difference in who we are without our Lord Jesus and who we are with our Lord Jesus. Remind us that without Him we were once dead, doomed because of our sins, living like the rest of the world, full of sin, serving Satan, following the whims and fancies of our evil nature, and positioned to receive God’s wrath.
