The Daily News (Poem)

T

Spinning effervescent tales
Conjuring erudite lies
With magic smoke screen
Our minds mesmerize

Amusing us constantly
With irrelevant rabbit trails
Pulled out of mindless hats
Classic trick never fails

And truth be told
Is the truth ever told?
Or does preconceived notion
Feed our mental commotion?
