Father God, we thank You that You are gracious to us and do what You promise You will do. Your promises are not delayed. They show up in our lives when You complete what You are working out in us. Remind us that what is being inwardly perfected in us while we wait is as much a part of Your promise as the outward manifestation of the promise itself.  (more…)

Father God, we come before You today to pray for leaders and government officials whom You have placed in authority over us. We pray that they would set themselves apart to do Your will. May they be people of honor among whom we can live peaceful lives without fear. (more…)

Lord God, as we live out our lives before You, we pray that You would find us waiting expectantly at the door of all that our lives hold. Reveal Yourself to us in the midst of the rhythms of our daily lives.  Help us to run and hurry and do everything in our power to lay aside our own agendas even when it seems like the timing of Your visitation is inconvenient. Lord God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, we thank You for being our El-Shaddai – Almighty, Omnipotent, and All-Sufficient God. We thank You that when You ask us to live blamelessly before You, You do it in full awareness of our weaknesses, our impotence, and our insufficiency. With all our hearts, we believe that You are enough for our every circumstance. (more…)

Father God, we ask for Your forgiveness for every decision we have made while thinking from our earthly perspective rather than coming to You for a heavenly perspective first. Teach us that there is no situation in our lives that is so urgent that we cannot stop for two minutes to seek Your wisdom in our daily lives. Regardless of what we think, remind us that Your heavenly arrangement for the institution of one man and one woman in marriage is always the best plan. (more…)
