Father God, help us to remember that true prosperity is having You and Your presence with us no matter where we find ourselves. When You call us overcomers, help us to see that there will be circumstances that will need to be overcome. May we rest in knowing that ultimately we have victory in Jesus because of our faith in You.
Holy Spirit, we admit that it’s really hard to stay unaffected when we have been wronged intentionally or unintentionally. Keep us from getting bitter in the midst of it all so that our relationship with You remains unaffected. Help us to be able to extend the same grace that has been extended to us without holding back.
Lord Jesus, may everyone we encounter know that You are the only reason for every blessing we have. Be with us and make Your face shine on everything that You place in our hands as You make our work successful. Help us to be faithful with work even when we are called to work in situations that seem beneath us. May we overflow in abundant blessings to everyone we meet because You are our source and You never run out of anything.
Father God, help us to remain trustworthy in all things even when no one is holding us accountable. Remind us that we are accountable to You, so help us to do everything as worship unto You. May we see that being trusted comes with responsibility and that any betrayal of trust is a sin against You.
Holy Spirit, give us discernment to stay away from situations where there might be even the slightest illusion of compromise. Keep us away from temptations especially those that compromise the sanctity of our marriages. Help us to see that we cannot remain in and around the influence of sin without it gradually moving in on us.
Lord Jesus, protect us from false accusations. Give us wisdom to know how to distance ourselves from people who lead us towards sin. Help us to flee immediately to avoid shaming our testimony for You. No one descends into depravity overnight. Open our eyes to see that the slope towards sin is a gradual one. It always involves going beyond the boundaries You have placed for our protection.
Father, Son, and Spirit, keep us from murmuring against unfairness and unfavorable circumstances regardless of where they come from. Open our eyes to see that with You, we not only survive but thrive even in the harshest circumstances. Help us to maintain our integrity by honoring those under whose covering and authority You place us. You work all things for the good of those who love You and whom You call according to Your purpose. May those words move from being a glib quote in our mouths to become a deeply rooted truth in our hearts.
