Genesis Seventeen

G

Lord God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, we thank You for being our El-Shaddai – Almighty, Omnipotent, and All-Sufficient God. We thank You that when You ask us to live blamelessly before You, You do it in full awareness of our weaknesses, our impotence, and our insufficiency. With all our hearts, we believe that You are enough for our every circumstance.

Holy Spirit, we thank You for showing us that it was the sound of Your living breath in both Abraham and Sarah that changed their names, their lives, and their destinies. We thank You that when You established a covenant in which all people of the earth would be blessed and breathed Your word for us, You did not forget Sarah and her name.

Lord Jesus, You are not only the Giver of this covenant but also the Keeper of this covenant. May we see and recognize in the tearing of Your flesh and the shedding of Your blood the ultimate Fulfillment of this covenant. May our obedience to You and all that You ask us to do in Your name be immediate and complete.

Father God, we thank You for showing us that everything that You touch bears abundant fruit and increases in number. There is no lack in You. Set us apart to live out Your abundance in extreme generosity with everyone we meet.

Holy Spirit, we pray above all things for the abundance of the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Be magnified as we live, move, and have our being in Jesus. May love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control increase in our lives.

Lord Jesus, show Yourself strong on our behalf by making Your grace sufficient for us in our weakness. Awaken in us a desire to do Your will. Disciple us as we disciple those whom You have placed in our circles of influence. May we live as a kingdom of priests who have been marked by the removing of our fleshly desires and declared clean before You.

Father, Son, and Spirit, revive the dead and impotent places in our lives to bear fruit in keeping with repentance. Reveal Yourself to us in new and glorious ways. May our response to Your revelation always be worship and obedience!
